Mar 6 Papi's Tacos

Do you like cheap drinks & great tacos? Then look no further because Papi's Taco Joint is your place.

I went here with my boyfriend to help him explore my city, he's a New Jersey native, & is staying in Baltimore for his Ph.D program. He kept complaining to me that he doesn't know where to eat in my city or where to go. So as a good Baltimore native, I took him on a mini food tour of Baltimore.

1st stop was Papi's.

Walked in & found out they were having $4 margaritas & .50 cents extra for flavors. It doesn't matter if you wanted your margarita on the rocks or frozen. Papi's has drink specials everyday, so each day is a party no matter when you go.

We both ordered 2 margaritas each. He ordered the regular margarita on the rocks, and I ordered the frozen mango margarita & the frozen passion fruit margarita . They were strong, but delicious.

As we got settled, we were greeted with complimentary fresh chips & salsa, and yes you can ask for more.

Why I love Papi's so much is for their "Build Your Own Street Tacos" menu.

I ordered Authentic Style Baja Mahi ($6.50) & Cangrejo ($7.50) Flour Soft Tacos. Basically, I ordered fish tacos & crab tacos. All of the street tacos orders are 2 tacos with each order. I had four tacos and was stuffed for the rest of the night. My boyfriend ordered the chicken quesadilla ($8.50), which he liked a lot. He was actually full for awhile, so that's a note for you guys out there.

Papi's is good quality food for a really low price, & strong drinks that are pocket & hangover friendly.
