A Little French Hideaway: Sacre Sucre

This pandemic has gotten us all down especially those who love to travel. Last year, I was fortunate enough to travel to France for the first time with my best friend. All the statements are true, the pastries are one to die for. Waking up to fresh bread and pastries flowing through the air, does everything for your heart and nothing for your waist line. To say I am missing Paris is a small statement, so to find Sacre Sucre tucked in beautiful Fells Point was a dream come true.

There was a little bit of wait due to COVID precautions (don’t forget your mask!), but it was so worth it. You walk up and you INSTANTLY smell fresh bread. When walk in you instantly greet by not only the amazing staff, but truly art. Their pastries are breath taking. I decided to go with an assortment of macarons (get the Earl Grey one - you won’t be disappointed), chocolate croissant, dark chocolate eclair, and a flat white latte with oat milk.

BC (Before Covid), they offered in studio macaron making classes which is super cute and sounds like a blast. I will definitely be back! Check their hours on their social, but currently they are open Thursday - Sunday 9AM - 6PM.

Bonus: When I was waiting in line, I met an amazing family celebrating a birthday. Had an amazing conversation so that was awesome!
