Located in Northeast Washington D.C., in the Brentwood community is a dope restaurant. With great artwork highlighting rappers, philosophers, and unknown saints to entrees paying homage..."The 'Christopher Wallace' (Truck Stop Steak & Eggs)" to "Charm City Red Velvet Belgian Waffle" & much more. With tons of local craft beers & local artists' artwork surrounding the walls, you can feel the owner's appreciation for the "shop local" movement.

I ordered the "The 'Ralph Bunche' (Big Grilled Cheese Sammie)"...fully loaded. With this entree, like many of Smith Public Trust's entrees, you have the option to add onto your meal. It came on toasted sourdough, avocado, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, fried egg, apple-wood bacon, red pepper, and cilantro chimichurri with a side salad topped with the house dressing.[pictured above]

Needless to say, this meal was amazing! My meal with a huge cup of coffee came to about $20 or so. The price point here is moderate for sure. Perfect place, if you are looking for a low-key, relaxing brunch place to get over those Monday feels.
